I am a newly qualified teacher having recently gained a Secondary PGCE (Science) teaching qualifictaion at Warwick University in Coventry (UK).

I have completed teaching placements at Alderman Callow Secondary School and Coundon Court School and Community Technology College (both in Coventry).

I have been teaching Science at Cardinal Wiseman RC School in Coventry since September 2000.

My interest in computers and an addiction to the internet has lead me to scour the net for useful sites and resources for teachers. It took me a while to find anything worthwhile, and I thought it would be useful to share these with colleagues.

All work and no play makes Jack build a webpage... The site is primarily aimed at teachers who are new to the internet and to computers. The pressure is now on to involve ICT in lessons across the curriculum, which is tricky enough for us NQTs with our supposed cutting edge ICT skills. For those who have only used computers to type letters, it is a little more difficult. This page is intended to be a starting point for teachers who want to use ICT in their lessons, or would just like to find some worthwhile sites on the internet.
